In a totally uncomplicated way I love Joan Baez and her late sister, Mimi Fariña. I just read Joan's interview with The Chronicle about her new book....got me to thinking to post a small tribute to Joan and Mimi. Here's part 1.

I keep forgetting to post this here - Michael Longcor is a singer/songwriter who specializes in historical AND fantasy, and he has quite the range of pirate/seafaring songs.
