I donated platelets for the first time on Sunday! They expire in 72 hours, and frequently go to cancer patients. I’m glad I could give back to cancer patients since I’ve lost so many people to cancer and have friends currently fighting it. It was 2.5 hours and a little strange, but I’m glad I tried it and got to experience it.
