This monochromatic room gets me!
I’m a big fan of using Pinterest, and while surfing, I saw this photo and I couldn’t found who was the creator of this gorgeous room that I found very chic for many reasons:
What catches my attention is the modern design, and by this means the ultra-clean space area and types of furniture. Also, many will think that a room with colour red is too intense, but this colour and its variation of the shades make it easy on the eye, and if you have a keen eye you can imagine this room at night with a lamplight the colours will appear muted, rich and elegant.
Another reason that I like this picture is because I’m a city person and I imagine this would be the kind of area that a house or a flat could have in the cities, and cities are hubs for modern design and fresh ideas.
I find fascinating the amount of negative space; it makes to have a balance between that and the furniture with darker reds and the colour of the wall on the right, it doesn’t seem like something is missing....oh yes! The only missing thing is...Me sitting there!!
