Rabindranath Tagore (7 May 1861 - 7 August 1941), also known as Gurudev, Kabiguru, and Biswakabi, was a Bengali polymath who made great contribution to Indian literature, music, as well as art. He was the first Indian to be awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1913 for his collection Gitanjali published in London in 1912. He wrote national anthems for India, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka.
