CUSTOM ORDER COMPLETED! I was sent 4 human wisdom teeth by the customer, which I cleaned and sanitized then made this necklace and ring for them. Nope that’s not popcorn! 🍿😂 Sawed they crowns off of over 100 real human teeth today! Which is quite tedious and even sometimes painful taking hours to finish. BONELUST Q&A: “How do you get your hearts?” Most of the animal by-products I use in my art I find and process myself. They are usually natural death, road kill and hunter dumped remains I've collected & fully processed myself. _ PICTURED: I found two absolutely massive wild pigs dumped on the roadside near my home today. A male and female. These wild pigs are absolutely horrific for my local wildlife. They are invasive and eat ANYTHING. So two less here is a great thing for the ecosystem. Inside the rib cage of the male I was surprised to see one lung still intact and then saw what I was pretty sure was the heart! It is really uncommon for the heart to still be there for dumped remains like this so I was very excited to find it there! The heart is already preserving and the rest of the carcasses are in my vulture snack area. _ CONT’D: Sometimes donations of animals are shipped to me rather than them being wasted. Nothing is ever killed for my art! I honor their lives in my work. On rare occasions I locate ethical sources for anything I can't find locally. Like the porcupine quills & deer antler I use, which are both naturally shed. Any animal by-products from small farms were from animals that were well cared for and either died naturally or humanely put down. Sorry, I rarely sell my supplies because I work so hard to locate/preserve them for myself. _ Sorry if you weren’t prepared to see photos of dead animals, but this is the reality of where my supplies come from. This is very important to me as well, as the majority of my customers.
