The whole “promise you won’t leave me”/“you promised you wouldn’t leave” reoccurring phrase from Bones in the Ocean just hit me a week after finishing the fic.

. . . Fuck dude, I didn’t consent to fanfics knowing exactly how to hit me where it hurts. If I didn’t already knowingly and openly kin c!Phil I’d be strongly considering it at this point.
