So after going back and rewatching that last bit of Philza's stream last night cause I'm still insane about it, I remembered something:

Phil took out most of his inventory, as instructed in the letter. And this included any food or water except a single bucket of water... and a stack of golden apples. (yes, there is that bowl but I forget what's in it, and even if it's food, it's not gonna last long, obviously). This is all Phil has to keep himself fed while trapped. And for some of his characters, Philza really really enjoys heavily implying that they gain some sort of addiction to gapples (see his Hardcore series--which is canon to QSMP--or Origins).

I'm not saying q!Phil's gonna get a gapple addiction but man what if what if what if
