Star Trek Prompt/Story Idea:
Type: Gen, Friendship, hurt/comfort, BAMFBones, and shameless Bones Whump
Who: Leonard "Bones" McCoy, James T. Kirk, Christopher Pike
The Idea/Prompt: During the battle of Vulcan the Enterprise is pretty battered. So the crew must be too, right? Sickbay was one of the places hit so I would think Bones was tossed around a little. What if...Bones had gotten injured? Nothing too noticeable from the outside like say for example broken ribs, fractured wrist, and a concussion? 🤔 At first, he promised himself to get it looked at after everything calmed down. Buuut things for medical didn't calm down for quite some time. He just kept going and going. He kept putting it off and then for the first time in a while he was able to sit and that is at Jim's ceremony. He put on a brave face for his friend but after it's all said and done McCoy's body couldn't take it anymore and he collapses. It's up to you if it's in front of people or someone finds him. Pike would be an interesting pick. Just throwing that out there. (I am shameless for Bones whump and crew family/friendship dynamics. 😅)
