A/N: this is really short, sorry!
You knocked on the door in a melancholy yet frantic way, a mixture of emotions filled your body. You didn’t know you could be upset and pleased at the same time, or pissed off yet understanding.
“Lance, are you there?” you asked, knocking again once an immediate response wasn’t given. “Lance.” you spoke lightly, opening the door to his office at the FBI building slowly and peeking your tired head in. You saw him laying on his couch, his eyes closed. “Glad to see I’m not the only one whose had a long day.” you said to yourself while you stepped into his office and closed the door behind you. You walked over to the couch and slipped off your heels before laying on top of your boyfriends warm body.
“What time is it?” Lance asked in a rusty voice, knowing just from the way your body felt on his that it was you.
“6 at night.” you responded, now closing your own eyes and letting your head rest on the spot in between his shoulder blades.
In one swift movement he flipped his body under yours so you were now facing each other. He draped his hands over your lower waist and kissed the top of your head which was now resting on his chest.
“Want to spend the night here?” he asked, half jokingly but also half remembering it wouldn’t be the first time you would have both spent the night in his office. All nighters were normal in your job descriptions.
“No, I want to spend the night in your bed.” you answered, sleepily. You felt Lance chuckle a bit before sitting up and picking up your body, holding you close to his body. He bent down and picked up your heels and then threw his work bag over his shoulder. It was like you were his baby.
“Let’s go then.” he smiled before walking out of the office with you in his arms.
