The Lost in the Found
Well I just have seen an episode in one of my favorite series, “BONES”, and I just was so struck by with what I had seen last night. It was about a girl who smartly killed herself which framed her “friends” that they murdered her. The girl was very dysfunctional in terms of social skills and was constantly bullied by the girls around her. She wanted to be dead of the constant bullying which then taunted her that she wanted to die. She drugged her “friends” and later killed herself which she framed her “friends”.
I was very much struck by how she responded, she wanted to reach out and be loved and belong. Even though her intellect being high getting the highest in every subject except music, she was still hungry for peers’ love despite having a wonderful parents. She then tried to belong however it didn’t happen and she was left out. I loved how Temperance(Main Character), told that she was very intelligent but however if there was only one person she could talked to be a true friend(Non-verbatim). Much like in Discipleship it is to be a true friend to a person your discipling, it is to be a friend at all times(Proverbs 17:17). So take a minute and look at your contacts and ask how is that person who you almost never talk to maybe he/she needs a friend at all times. :)
The second thing I noticed is my love for justice to be served, watching crime series like NCIS, CSI, Bones, NCIS New Orleans, I simply love watching justice to be served much like in us the justice of God has been served already on that Cross of Christ and He rose again. Justice has been met fully on that cross. Always remember that :)
