hello! question: what are your favorite ways (or any other ways you can think of) that a character gets kidnapped?
im working on a story and want some fresh ideas and inspiration.

heya bones, I got you! here's a couple ideas I brainstormed up:
Whumpee is invited to a raging party thrown by a friend. In the midst of the chaos, no one notices him slumped against the wall, trying to pretend he doesn’t exist. When they found out he went missing the next morning, the friend acts confused. They didn’t remember Whumpee attending the party at all...
Whumpee is overworked and exhausted. After working a closing shift on his own, he gets his first moment to breathe all night. He enjoys the walk home until he feels the barrel of a gun press to the back of his neck. The man forces him to swallow a handful of pills, and drags him into the alley.
Whumpee answered the door to a stranger. Then he woke up here. That’s all he can remember.
Whumpee gets lured out of his hiding spot using some kind of bait. (an old friend? drugs? food?)
Somebody Whumpee trusts invites him over to their place. He doesn’t realize he’ll never get to leave.
