Detail of a project that's been consuming my life for a few weeks. Lots of drawing, redrawing and lots of design. Almost done. Waiting on client approval and then you'll see it throughout the summer if you're a 12-21yr old kid who likes music. #stoked Sadly this is all I can show ya. After this I gotta cut my teeth on some painting. Damn you @thedrowntown Thanks to everyone that ordered either of the #qotsa posters. They will ship Tuesday. It's gonna take a few days to process the orders. Sorry for any radio-silence. All I've been doing is living and breathing the above-mentioned project. I barely left my apartment. People thought I was dead. Felt like a drawing zombie. So yeah my apologies for putting a hold on orders until I was near done with this project. This is why I need an assistant to help with orders but I don't want one. The past couple of assistants I had in NYC were such a disappointment. But I digress... Ok done whining. Apologies to friends who didn't get any response from me over the past couple of weeks. Work comes first. Done with the pencils. Onto the inks. I think I’m getting better with the bones of the hand. Each time I feel like I see something new in my reference and I add that to the drawing. This time it was understanding the ball joint looking part - the knuckles. #iamabignerd Not sure if you can see in the photo - I write notes on my drawings so I don’t get confused as to what’s what. Saves frustration later.

Gonna take a break to get to some emails. I kinda asked for it with my last post. Sorry again if I came off all herkyjerky. But it had to be said.

I need to get my shamrock shake on. For 3 years I tried to track them down in NYC and I was always one step behind. This year it’s on like booze on a leprechaun!!!

Cue the Whitesnake...cuz here I go again on my own! Starting the next gig poster. Wanted to do two different posters because both bands are huge but deadlines won't allow. Every time I hafta draw the bones of the hand I tend to get closer to understanding how to better draw them. A few epiphanies in between some sneezes from a drooling nose. Hope y'alls gots your art history down because I'm deviating from the monsters for this one. Hopefully the sad bastards and the shoe gazers dig this one.
