CobbleCraft Day 109 - Staff Promotions
So great news. Bonestza handed out some promotions today. I'm your new MOE. That's Master of Events if you didn't know. eddiek203 has also been promoted to MOE. SteveyTheCat joins the admin team. And Areforever and McMorkey are your new C-mods.
As your new staff team we will all do our best to provide the best gaming experience for you! One of our admins, Lady_Moose has already begun our training for running events. And I'm in the process of putting together some events for Friday the 13th. Click here for more info on that!
On top of that Bone has been working on a new feature to our server called the Mob Arena and a new Prize Table/Store format, so stay tuned for more on that.

CobbleCraft Day 68 Back To Basics
Another day begins when I wake up in the middle of the night. Not too many people were on. I decide it’s time to get back to basics. I grab a bunch of cobblestone and some saplings and head to an area with some mobs. I cleared up some space and put up cobblestone fencing. Insert cows & sheep, boom, farm! I also planted various trees around the area since I’m going to be needing more wood for some builds. I then built a small cobble shack that I can keep some supplies in. I’ll add a small wheat machine and some lighting later.
During this time Hero was playing around and did a little damage. Bonestza came on and managed to resolve the issue. You can read about that here! When the server came back online I went back to work on the cow farm. Then Bone showed me a room he built, and a new mini game. I took a break and when I came back I decided I should build a small Iron farm.
Started off with a 14 x 14 platform, a little over 50 doors, and some water. I was following a tutorial (link) but I made a couple of adjustments. The next step was to build a small breeding box. After that was the tedious task of building a cart system back down to the ground. I had 2 lonely villagers hiding out underground for safety. I got the track done, and sent the villagers on their way up. I even recorded the journey.
Once I had them in the box I noticed that I had built it too high and it was blocking the doors. So I went to fix it and that is when I lost my villagers. I accidentally left a block that they were able to jump up on. I heard them open the doors, and then I watched them fall to their doom. You can imagine how disappointed I am with myself at this point. So now I must wait around here for a couple of zombie villagers to turn. It wasn’t really part of my plan, but these things happen. I might as well do some more building while I’m there as well.

CobbleCraft Day 28 - Optimized By Bone
Why is CobbleCraft the best vanilla server? Because our owner Bonestza has been hard at work tweaking code, and doing everything in his power to improve the bugs from the latest update including frame rates. And he has done quite the job. If you did not already know the horsey update came with a major bug relating to integrated graphics. Meaning anyone playing on a laptop was gonna have some trouble. I personally experienced the lowest FPS ever. When I realized what the problem was I sat back and decided to wait for Mojang to release a patch.
But Bone did the opposite. He worked at more and more. My 6-10 fps is now more like 30-40. This to me is astonishing. I didn’t even know it could be done. So while other servers are reporting unplayable conditions, we are back up and running. Not only were we one of the first servers to have 1.6, we are also one of the first to be optimized. All thanks to the best server operator around, Bonestza.

CobbleCraft Day 26 - Part 2 - Voter Of The Month
Guess what I just found out. Bonestza has just announced that I am the Voter Of The Month!!! This one took some effort and a lot of help. Thank you kaiik, you're the best. And gg to NGT. It was a hard fought battle. And for those of you wondering what the prize is, Double Protected Chest!!!!!!
