Why does Sir Jimmy Crystal’s cult in 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (2026) have exactly seven ‘fingers’? It’s not just for shock value. The seven members symbolise the six sisters Jimmy lost during the outbreak as a child, and himself as a young innocent boy. A twisted tribute revealed between the opening scene and the films credits. While Jimmy’s skin-crawling Savile-inspired antics and Satanic rituals dominate the film, this detail adds a tragic layer to his madness. Seven ‘fingers’, seven lost siblings (Jimmy includes himself and takes on his fathers role as priest and head of the family). It's worthy noting that his sisters were all blonde, long haired, girls. Unsettling, but it explains why the Jimmy never grow beyond that number and why he insist they dress up with blonde wigs. He is literally dressing them up like his dead sisters.
