Can’t speak to the expertise of any of these groups, though I’ve heard NY Sumo Club is about as legit as you’re gonna get in the U.S. for Sumo.
Any tips on getting better at stand up/wrestlingin bjj?Watching the Danaher series currently and I’m getting results with the single leg,snap down, and even double leg. It’s still not enough to feel comfortable and I’d like to be better.
Honestly, not really. Not specifically anyway. Sounds like you're already doing the work. Can't really comment too much on what you should/should not be doing without seeing you go.
General advice? You should watch some wrestling breakdowns (of wrestling matches) and get some straight wrestling rounds in as well as mixing it up with your BJJ rolls if you aren't already.
Can someone out there with a wrestling background out there who's moved to BJJ can give better detailed advice?
