Years ago she mailed me a zombified portrait of myself...so it meant a lot to be able to sketch photos she took for me, and then mail them out to her 🙏🏻

OKAY it’s time to talk to you about my friend Bianca... 

:: Maybe you’ve seen posts about/with her from years past under the username Bonkatonk, yeah, same gal. But I can only sit here for so long watching this artist grow and flourish before I just have to gush about her a little bit, so give me a moment.  First: There’s this amazing article from The Campus Crop that basically does what I’m doing here - talk about how awesome B is. [click here]  Second: Have you seen the film she’s in called “The After” by One Last Take Productions? [click here]  Third: I was trying to figure out how to best show off all the crazy/mixed art she’s constantly knocking out. From paintings, to chalk murals, to random sketches; it all gets posted on her Instagram. [click here] 

Lately I see a lot of my friends doing a lot of inspirational stuff, that get’s reblogged with the credits taken away. I really want to make an effort to put these artists in a spotlight for my readers, ‘cause they’re great, and you’re great, and what better way to spread love than to spread art. 

PS: B you have totally become a 50′s/60′s star!

Vlog38: Bonka's Passion

:: Hi, that's not me. Recently I asked a few friends to make a quick vid sharing what they're passionate about / what motivates them. I just feel like lately it's important to share this with others; there are too many people beating themselves up because they feel like nothing drives them! Why Bianca? Because she's the one that motivated ME to make vlogs, believe it or not. Back when everyone called her "Bonkatonk" and I was just starting in college. We've been bugging each other online ever since ;) PS: Bonus points to the person that can find her in ANOTHER one of my videos...
