What are your thoughts one skybound's Transformers run? (Plot, art, characters, etc.)
Tried reading it and got bored rather quickly. The art is pretty but the story kind of failed to make me interested in any of the characters. I uh. I don't know if that makes sense but I feel like there's too many characters and not enough screen time for all of them?
Overall. Just not my cup of tea I think
#bonus thoughts#I might be tripping but I get the feeling the comic relies heavily on previous knowledge I am supposed to have about Transformers#kind of like Earthspark does?#like some stuff is very obviously supposed to tease me with “oooh this character is about to show up” or “ooohh this is about to happen”#but jokes on them. I did not care about that stuff beforehand#it is their job to make me care#and the comic doesn't try hard enough#honestly. I can't quite put my finger on why it doesn't work on me#I don't know. There's something missing#something that was making those characters lovable to me before🤔#eh. I saw other people enjoying the comic#so perhaps it's just a case of subjective taste preferences
