I saw phantom for the first time waaaay back when I was like four or five and I thought I'd like it because we listened to the tape all the time in the car but then that shit with the chandelier happened and hoooly shit I was so scared plus basically any time the phantom had his mask off i'd be hiding under my seat crying because his face looked terrifying and thats my first memory of the phantom of the opera (i still cry every time i see phantom but for different reasons now obviously ahaahaha)
come into my ask and tell me about your favourite/first theatre experience
Omg, I’m sorry I snorted in laughter, Kat, oh gee. Everything you described is what kept me on the edge of my seat. The last time it was in Melb. and the chandlier came smashing to the ground, I was like ‘HOLY SHIT THIS IS WAY MORE AWESOME LIVE RATHER THAN ME ACTING IT OUT IN MY LOUNGE’. I could go on for days about this musical, but I won’t. That is an amazing story.
[p.s i’m watching the 25th anniversary right now and uofhffkdhg]
