Sitting for a minute before I get ready for work and I can hear:

- Mourning Doves flying back and forth across the yard

- The clicking of the tags on my dogs collars

- Robins chirping to reach other in the oaks

- The Life-flight helicopter as they swap out shifts (I’m in their flight path and crew change flights sound so different from emergency flights)

- Bubbles riding in my can of Tab sitting on the table next to me

- The two-note whistle of a black-capped chickadee
