I actually love QoS because Arobynn imo is the best villain Maas has ever written. Yes, Maeve and the King of Hybern have done despicable things and all but Arobynn has a lot more depth and complexity to his character than they do. He’s much better written, in my opinion. 🤷

some very important Rupert analysis and foreshadowing. Getting his family history and seeing who he is at like 21/22 in this really makes a lot of his behaviors in Rivals standout.

I wish some of his childhood trauma got properly addressed in Riders/Rivals, but love the character background regardless.

Oh my God I am so used to ACOTAR I forgot TOG is written in third person. This feels so strange!

I will not be afraid. It’s so easy to forget how much Aelin actually went through in Endovier 😭
