“Bibliophilia,” 2014
I finally saved enough for a Folio Silm (I found an older edition on eBay) and she is stunning
Couldn't resist showing a sneak peek of my next painting, which I *cannot* wait to unveil - it'll be on view at Quirky Fox in April as part of the group show "Bibliophilia". Full reveal soon!

Hidden in classic literature are pure love and the occasional glimpse into the bizarre, that's where I find an aged love 🎵📚

“At a Tokyo Bookstore That Never Sleep”
Since I know you're a book collector do you have any tips for books that smell really bad like old books that are extra musty etc
If it's especially bad and has that damp/musty smell (instead of the "normal" old book smell, which I don't mind at all), I'll put 4 or 5 fabric softener sheets throughout the book and change their position every few days. I don't even know if it actually helps, but it seems like it does.
But I would NOT recommend doing that with genuinely valuable rare books or collectible volumes that you want protect from further damage because there's always a risk that there may be some sort of oils that alter the condition of the book's pages.
