I personally don’t get why everyone goes at a competitive angle for Violet. I love those interpretations but I feel that in the book she’s supposed to have a lack of manners

My favorite character in the Charlie and the chocolate factory franchise has definitely been book violet, and I think I just realized why. She is described as talking alot and talking loudly, which I just relate to SO much. I have a habit of rambling, especially about stuff I really like, so I just relate to her a lot. (Also her design is so cool, like sometimes she’s depicted with a denim jacket and I love denim jackets—) She just a chatty gal like me and I like that.
