Do you prefer hardbacks or paperbacks?
I'll say paperbacks. Of course hard covers are nice and all, but paperbacks are a) cheaper and b) smaller, and you can see from them that they've been read and loved. I don't mean cracked spines or anything horrible like that, but I like how you can if a paperback has or has not been read.
Do you judge a book by its cover art?
Yes. Unfortunately I do so. It's totally not anything to be proud of, but I still do it. Oops.
Name a series you re-read often?
Well, I've re-read at least Harry Potters and The Mortal Instruments. And Kane Chronicles and The Hunger Games. And Rachel Riley -series by Joanna Nadin. And I plan to re-read Uglies, though I just finished it (actually, I haven't even finished the series yet, just the trilogy: I don't own Extras, and therefore haven't read it yet).
Do you keep all the books that you buy? If not, what do you do with them?
Some of my old books I've given to my little sister, but normally I do keep all the books I buy. All books I own I actually do also like, so it's not like I'm giving my beloved darlings away.
Would you buy a second hand book?
Of course, if I wanted to get the book. I saw The Shadow of the Wind in a second hand shop about year ago and I'm still bitter that I didn't buy it. I should've.
Who do you lend your books to?
To my friends, whom I know will take good care of them. Which is pretty much all my friends.
How do you shelves your books? By colour, author, title, other?
By author. I've tried to shelve them by colour, but a) I don't have enough books to create a good looking rainbow of books and b) I don't like not having my books in alphabetical order.
Are your family also book lovers?
Yes. Literally all of them: my mother loves to read, my father loves to read, my brother and sister love to read. Even my grandma and aunts and uncles love to read. It's probably in genes.
If you owned a bookstore what would you call it?
I'd probably come up with some pretentious and oh-so-unique name, but I can't think of one right now. It would probably be pretty snobby and "trying too hard" -like.
Have you ever done or been to anything book themed? If so what?
Not really, if you don't count having a book related tumblr. So yeah, not.
Can you read while doing other things? If so what?
It depends. I can read a book and watch a movie (though if the movie's really good, then I won't read a book while watching it). And sometimes I can listen to music while reading, but often not.
