I'm already all over 2018 and these watercolor images are part of it. Much of my fine art is created in character and these are explorations for the character Lucien Karr. I'm essentially creating the fine art book extras for The Gospel of Wolves, Episode Two with these explorations. While writing a book is great and all, I want you to be able to see (and if you like, own) the art you read about. I'm breaking up Lucien's artistic development across stages and this piece is one of his earlier works. Doing this gives me story and background insights and ideas that I'd never have if I only jotted random thoughts down on paper about his height, weight and personality traits.
