📖 Book Review: The Immortal Heights by Sherry Thomas Attempt no. 2 at uploading YA historical fantasy. Final book in The Elementals trilogy. Swipe for my full thoughts, but TLDR; This conclusion was everything I want in the final book of a series. Everything was wrapped up well, even the tiniest details, and it kept me on my toes throughout. I really loved this series and am going to miss the magic of this world. Or are you expecting anything exciting? ⁣ ⁣ Well other than my two gorgeous copies of Empire of the Vampire — that book is a BEAST — I got two new art prints from @timelessprintsca! ⁣ ⁣ You’ll see the other one in tomorrow’s post but the first is this absolutely perfect print of Jesper and Wylan by @iparwing! I saw this print and I absolutely had to have it. Jesper and Wylan are one of my top OTP couples. I loved being back with them during my GrishaVerse reread. ℚ𝕆𝕋𝔻: What’s a book you love that you think deserves more hype?⁣ ⁣ NINTH HOUSE! ⁣ ⁣ I absolutely loved Leigh Bardugo’s adult fantasy debut and I really really really need book two in my life! Ninth House ended with a major cliffhanger and I need answers!! Plus I just want more Darlington, Alex, and Pamela Dawes in my life! ⁣ ⁣ Ninth House was dark + twisty and it kept me hooked the entire time. It was such an atmospheric and captivating story that’s full of magic, secret societies, ghosts, and all the twists! One of my favorite parts is the way Leigh builds her world by combining fantasy with the real life facts and history of Yale.
