ℚ𝕆𝕋𝔻: What’s your favorite thing about Fall?⁣ ⁣ 🍁Happy first official day of Autumn!🍁⁣ ⁣ My favorite season is here!! Today is perfect cool fall weather in the Chicago suburbs! My favorite part of autumn is definitely the cooler weather and crisp air. I also love the changing leaves, fall activities, and all things Halloween! ℚ𝕆𝕋𝔻: Do you have any fun weekend plans? ⁣ ⁣ I don’t know if you’d call this fun, but it is big. I have my first shift at my new nicu this Sunday. I’m an anxious mess and super nervous about it. I’ve been a nicu nurse for six years, but this is a big change with lots of newness! 📖 Book Review: The Burning Sky by Sherry Thomas YA historical fantasy. First book in The Elemental Trilogy. Swipe for my full thoughts, but TLDR; An enjoyable YA that’s a unique blend of high fantasy and historical fiction. While it was a slower paced book that didn’t cover as much as I remembered, it was filled with so many of my favourite fantasy tropes. I can’t wait to see how the story unfolds in the sequels. Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ P.S. I've changed up my review formatting a little bit! I have access to Adobe InDesign through uni so decided to start making my reviews there so I can practice. Q: If you lived in the world of your current read, what job/ role would you have? I have two different books on the go right now. My main read at the moment is a romance set in a country town, and a lot of the characters have their own horses. So I'd probably be what I was in real life a year or so ago: a horse vet 😂 My other read is a historical high fantasy.
