And I doubt you’ll like it.” QOTD: what’s an unpopular opinion of yours? I cannot say I was bored BUT I wasn’t enthralled either. Emilia and Vittoria are as close as ever. That is, until she’s murdered. Now, Emilia wants revenge. Through her venture of revenge, she continually finds out the secrets Vittoria has kept. Then she has to make a bargain with Wrath. A handsome fellow he certainly is. 😏 As they go through trying to find out how all these women are being murdered, they grow closer each time. As the book is ending everything becomes so entangled and not even in a good way. What threw me off was there was just such a flip of the characters. I felt at least. ⒷⓄⓄⓀ ⓇⒺⓋⒾⒺⓌ House of Hollow Author: Krystal Sutherland Genre: Fiction, Dark Fairytale My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Some people go missing because they want to; some go missing because they’re taken. And then there are the others—those who go missing because they fall through a gap somewhere and can’t claw their way back." Q: Do you like reading fairytale like stories? But with really dark twists? A: If you know me, I wouldn't read them any other way. A haunting tale. That's what this book is about. A totally mind altering, dark twist at the end! I finished it a couple of days ago with @fables.bookclub , and still got the hangover. Three kids go missing during new years eve midnight in Scotland. 31 days later, they arrive at the same spot, naked, disoriented, and with no memory of the past. The kids' parents are delighted, but only after a few days the father returns to the police, convinced that someone changed the kids. Their baby teeth are in place, their hair and eye colour is different, and their behaviour is definitely messed up! I don't want to say anything else, least it gives away the plot, but I can ensure you, you are not ready for the twist. Is there anything I didn't like about the book?? Well sometimes the story felt a little disoriented... like events were happening abruptly and I had to fill the gap with my imagination. Also there are some unanswered questions in the story, which I am hoping the author will reveal in a Sequel later! Anyways, for the sheer thrill of the storyline, I give 5 out of 5 to this book. ⒷⓄⓄⓀ ⓇⒺⓋⒾⒺⓌ Who moved my cheese Author: Spencer Johnson Genre: Self help, Fiction My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "The fastest way to change is to laugh at your own folly." Who moved my cheese is a small fictional tale said amongst some school friends at a reunion. The tale is really simple, still quite life changing. Two mice and two small people goes inside a maze in search of cheese and eventually finds lots of them. In later turns of events, once the cheese in that area runs out, the four of them reacts in four different way, quite like we human beings tend to do. Once we see any major changes in our life, we react in any of those four ways, and that can tell a lot about that person. This book talks about the adaptability to change. One can be any of the four characters mentioned in the book, but in the end, if one doesn't accept change gracefully and works upon it, one might become extinct. The book will hardly take 1 hour to finish, and it's written in such a strong and easy way, I am sure you are bound to love it. I know I did!! What did you think of this one? Have you read it? A Confession by Yani

Tamara has insisted I leave the cocoon and explain myself to our avid readers. I am cheating on my book, Trigger Warning, with Fables. While my complaints about the embelmatic nature of the short story form has put me off as an admirer of plot and intricacry over symbolism - Tamara is very excited to dive back into Neil Gaiman’s world. I would like to apologise for my sloth, and defeat this collection of short stories, using the warm embrace of the Fables graphic novels to support me. Even though this challenge is about freedom the cup of bookish delights has reaffirmed my literary promiscuity. Here’s to the coming end of this adventure and the beginning of a new one. I can still catch Tamara up as the cup seems to be churnng out only tomes for her to read. A full review of Trigger Warning will be with you soon!
