Type Map for The Mask Falling by Samantha Shannon 🐝
This is my favorite book of the series so far. It takes place in Paris, in a Safehouse, in Versailles, in the catacombs and has a love story, a heist, clairvoyant sword fighting and sees Paige and Arcturus’s connection deepen. It is romantic and terrifying and exciting and has the most painful cliffhanger I’ve ever read. And some of the most beautiful writing. I’m still not OK.
The entire “Evenfall” chapter can go. 💔😭

Type Map for Only a Monster by Vanessa Len 😈
This book has everything I love: time travel, unique powers, a heist, monsters, fantasy animals, a gala, a love triangle and a fabulous heroine and diverse cast of characters that takes place in London. The world building is fantastic and I must have switched between TeamAaron and TeamNick at least 5 times, but I am solidly on TeamJoan. Also, traveling back to 1993 was deliciously good.
