question for bugblr. . .
found what looks to be a booklice in a coastal environment, like in the sandy dunes. But nothing I’ve read really confirms if booklice are found in that kind of environment?
(it has six legs and a pair of ‘pinching’ mandibles)
Is there anything else it may be or is it not unreasonable to find a booklice on a beach environment (sandy, marsh plants, driftwood, etc. . .)

Liposcelis ornata
A booklouse found in North and South America. They are omnivorous and will eat almost any stored product of animal or plant origin, and moulds. Liposcelis spp. are also important pests of museums, libraries, food processing plants, retail and domestic premises. In buildings, psocid infestations are usually associated with dampness and poor ventilation.

My apartment doesn't insulate heat very well. I turn on the heat, and it mainly goes into my bedroom and bathroom. The living room and Kitchen are freezing.
Well, I suppose the good thing about it being almost 40 degrees in the kitchen is that it will probbaly kill whatever booklice I didn't get with the bleach.
We were all laughing it up about my bug infestation at work, until I asked if I should still make food for the potluck on Monday. Dead silence.
Now I get to just buy a vegetable platter and maybe a small cake from the store before work.
Probably for the best, since I’m pretty sure my apartment has an exterminator on call so I might as well even after I’ve bleached everything.
Found a rotten garlic (onion? Lime?) in the kitchen. No where near the insects though.
The booklice mostly appear to be dead with the exception of the bunch that are living…in between the pages of my cookbooks.
Into the trunk of my car to freeze according to family I guess!
