I was tagged by bookoffee to do the 10 questions tag
1. Who is your all time favorite OTP? Probably Anna and Etiénne from Anna and the French Kiss.
2. Any trilogies that you recommend that are not that known? Yes, I highly recommend the Mysterious Benedict Society. It’s fun, clever, and very interesting.
3. Thoughts on book to movie adaptations? When done right, they can be fantastic, especially for people who don’t enjoy reading or are not capable of reading. When done wrong, well… ask Rick Riordan.
4. Are you doing a reading challenge? and how many books are you aiming for this year? I tried doing the reading challenge, but because school and work is taking up most of my free time, I haven’t had much time for reading at all. My goal was 17 (since that’s what I turned this year) but I’m pretty sure I haven’t even hit 7.
5. Ebooks or physical? Physical, but only because I don’t have enough money for an Ereader. Although, even if I did I would still pick physical. I have absolutely no disrespect for people who prefer Ereaders, but personally I like having a real book in my hands.
6. Do you drink any beverages or have any snacks when you read? I try too, but usually I get so distracted by the story that whatever I’m eating/drinking gets ignored.
7. Do you carry around a bag to carry books in? Not a separate bag no, but one of my criteria for buying new purses is that it must be able to fit a book. 8. Green tea or strawberry lemonade? Green tea. I’m not a huge lemonade person.
9. Hardcovers or paperbacks? Paperbacks. While hardcovers are prettier, paperbacks are cheaper and easier to carry around in my bag. Also dust jackets annoy me.
10. Which author would you like to hang out with for a day? And what would you guys do? Maggie Stiefvater because she’s so effing cool. We could ride around in her awesome car all day and I would would beg her on behalf of all the Raven Cycle fans to spare Gansey.
My questions: 1. Hunger Games, Divergent, both, or neither? 2. Do listen to music while reading? What do you listen too? 3. Favorite book-related object? 4. Favorite villain? 5. Favorite sidekick? 6. If you could resurrect a character from the dead, who would it be? 7. Roughly about how many books do you think you own (Ebooks count!)? 8. If you had to choose, which dystopian universe would you live in? 9. In your opinion, what character is the best example of character development? 10. You get to have dinner with an author and the character they’re famous for. Who would you pick? What would you ask them?
Sorry, I’m on mobile so I can’t link specific people. So go crazy followers, and tag isasbooks if you do it.
