Blurb's BookSmart Software
After familiarizing myself with Blurb's BookSmart software, by watching the two videos produced by the company, I began to experiment with the free software. I started the process by uploading a few pictures from one of my summer vacations to Florida's Walt Disney World. I then searched through the Picture and Text layouts to prepare a format for two pages within my trial book. Once I selected these formats, I began to insert different pictures and texts onto the screen. After deciding on the photos I wanted to use as well as the wording that I wanted to accompany them, I started to work through the many different creative aspects of designing the pages. There are so many different features offered through BookSmart's software. It was interesting to see all that the software had to offer and the endless possibilities of how to use it.
Now that I have a better understanding of the software, I want to start experimenting more so that I have a total understanding of Blurb's offerings. I want to be able to complete book projects similar to the amazing examples I viewed through Blurb's website. In order to get to that level, I will need to devote some time to learning all that I can about Blurb. I look forward to the next couple weeks and the time that I will spend growing in my abilities associated with Blurb's BookSmart software.
