Happy book release day @rhettandlink 🥰
“I was raised on books, making invisible friends in pages that seemed cast from dust and whose smell I carry on my hands to this day.” - Carlos Ruis Fafon * * I absolutely love this quote! Books have always been there for me. Lately I have enjoyed listening to audiobooks. I can listen to them on my way to school and at work. In anyway shape or form, I love books. 🖤
November 25: Unpopular opinion - Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. 🔥 * * I know. I know. Not many people like Catching Fire, but it is one of my favorite of the trilogy. I loved how it showed Katniss's PTSD, which continues into Mockingjay. I thought is was an amazing arena as well.
November 20th: a quote you love - “It was books that made me feel that perhaps I wasn’t completely alone.” - Will Herondale from The Infernal Devices by @cassandraclare ➰ * * I absolutely LOVE this quote! I am a reader (obviously 😍). This quote is totally me. When I have bad days, I read. When I have good days, I read. When I am lonely, I read. When I am in a crowded room, I read. Thank you, @cassandraclare for writing such a beautiful quote! * 📚
November 19th: everyone's read it but you - Divergent by Veronica Roth. * * I have not read the Divergent series. Veronica Roth is writing a new series coming out in January that I plan on reading, though. My sister and I are going to her book signing. I am pretty excited to go. 📚
November 13th: read it more than once - The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin. * * I read this book in Junior high for an English class, and I absolutely loved it! I have read it multiple times since then. Every time I read it, I fall in love with it again and again! * Sorry I didn't post yesterday, I had an essay due at midnight that I had to finish for one of my classes. I would have much rather done this than the essay.
Yes, I am one of those bookworms. 📚
