Native English for Nederlanders by Ronald van de Krol
From bol.com review on this book:
A common mistake of the Dutch is that they think they speak and / or write English well. Numerous academics (and not to mention otherwise educated people) think they can do it for a while, and embarrass themselves with their writings, texts, although most 'recipients' of this bad English are too polite to say so. You only learn to speak and write really well by being on the spot for a long time and opening yourself to criticism. You can learn it well by watching a lot of good television, listening to BBC world service, reading and self-study, disciplined, long-term practice. The book 'Native English for the Dutch' by Ronald van de Krol will help you with the latter very well. Written in an exemplary manner (in English, of course) and with a great knowledge of the language and (just as important!) And great knowledge of the cultural differences between the US and the UK on the one hand and the Netherlands on the other, which is very decisive are for the mode of expression. Highly recommended as a first step towards improvement.
