So I’m currently reading “The Great Mughals and Their India” by Dirk Collier and as a person who has never dabbled into history before, it is very much engaging !!

The funniest thing I came across while perusing this book was that when Babur triumphed in the battle of Panipat and came to have much of the subcontinent under his control (a new feat for a Timurid prince and quite impressive one for that), many people of his clan as well as army were very bitter about living there and wanted to leave because the weather was not pleasant!!! Like the weather was not pleasant!! And it’s soo funny because I’m a native of south east Asia and I still abhor the weather lmao 😂

Walk down the road with my cousins ft. feeling like Pride and Prejudice girls

In case you didn’t know, I love “Pride and Prejudice” a lottt, but also anyone wanna talk about “The Bell Jar” and how Greattttt of a book it is, while we take a walk down a clear road when it’s golden hour? I just completed it yesterday and I have so much to say about it like Plath really said all those things deemed socially awkward and taboo and Esther Greenwood really is the second most relatable female character I’ve come across, the first one being Anne Cuthbert Shirley !!

This line really just killed me: “To the person in the bell jar, blank and stopped as a dead baby, the world itself is a bad dream.”
