Vegas Nights 'Hacks FanFic Teaser'

Here is a little teaser for my first Hacks Detective AU fic for this year’s Hacks AU-a-thon challenge (shoutout to @sapphicscholar for setting this up). The fic drops later today, and more fics will drop bi-weekly, so keep an eye for those as well. 

It was not only really fun writing an AU for the first time, but it was also great to play around in Final Cut with VHS 80s style formatting for this 80s “cop show intro”. 

Vegas Nights Summary: 

In the summer of ‘87, after a series of mishaps, LAPD Detective Ava Daniels is forced to relocate to Las Vegas, Nevada. While making up for her mistake, she is tasked with protecting the famous singer Deborah Vance. What should have been routine becomes increasingly more dangerous as the threats grow more serious and a stalker gets closer. Between distressing encounters, an unexpected attraction is growing. Can Ava save Deborah and herself in time?
