'Fantastic beasts and where to find them' by J.K. Rowling is up next in the reading queue. Like everyone else in the world, I loved the Harry Potter series, even the new book, 'the cursed child'. This book's cover is soooo pretty! The blue and gold! Hopefully the book is just as nice.
Nothing like a cup of tea and a good book! Just finished ‘A conspiracy of violence’ by Susanna Gregory. It was good, a little hard to get into, but an easy read once you are into it. I am a sucker for anything set in London in the 17th - 20th century. This book is set in 1662, and follows Thomas Chaloner a former spy who is trying to solve multiple mysteries while avoiding being killed. Apparently Gregory has written other books in the same vein. I will have to check them out.

7) JPod by Douglas Coupland. 8) ALTHOUGH I didn’t necessarily think it was bad. I’m a bit magnanimous as a reader, so it takes a bit for me to thing that. I just found it a weird sort of book. I Am the Messenger by Markus Zusak. I loved (loved, loved) The Book Thief, but almost gave up on this one after a couple of chapters because I couldn’t really stand the narrator? So glad I kept with it though, because by the end I loved it just as much as The Book Thief, if not just a tiny little bit more.
