so I have never watched Teen Wolf IN MY LIFE but Holland Roden's gorgeousness finally enticed me, and though I am spending most of this season totally lost, I also cried like a child when Scott wrote Allison's initials on the bookshelf. IT IS YOUR FAULT, GALES
It is such a good stupid show, and honestly you are missing little and gaining alot by joining Teen Wolf after it’s awkward years when it was Twilight-the-TV-Show and after all the asshole white dudes are off the show so we’re just left with everyone’s mostly established superpowers and a sort of charming Teen Avenger’s thing going on. (but better than The actual Avengers because there are more girls and Captain America is the undisputed lead)
PUT A QUARTER IN THE MAD MAX JAR
so shiny and chrome!

UH LISTEN I’M GONNA DROP SOME ENTHUSIASTIC CAPSLOCK KNOWLEDGE: X-FILES IS THE BUSINESS. I FUCKING LOVE THAT SHOW. NOTHING ELSE WILL EVER BE AS GREAT AS THAT SHOW.
Literal hearteyes at your capslock.
Apparently it's on Netflix? I could watch it now and see where I end up. I was just a giant baby a million years ago and now I just have too many feelings. I will try the X-Files and let you know.
Get caught up on Orphan Black, okay? OKAY!

…what. WHAT! This is so nice! This is so seriously the nicest I just can’t askjhdlaksjhdas words? WORDS
Your comment cracked me up! :) Bless 'em. Papyrus isn't my least favorite either, though it's really far down there. I think it was mostly the death-grip they effected on it in the Avatar subtitles--100% done after that one. (I think it's mostly that I would have chosen something warmer/cozier and seriffed--"bookish"--for the show if it had been up to me?) (Clearly someone worked in advertising for a hot minute here too.) (I LOVE TYPOGRAPHY OPINIONS)
Haha, Yeah, the marketing people for this show/film series probably saw the name of the font and thought “HEY THAT WAS EGYPTIAN PAPER! Egyptian things mean ADVENTURE! Done, winner.” And I agree! Something warmer/cozier and seriffed would definitely have been best!
Comic Sans is totally my least favorite though. I cringe every time it’s used. Also, if I had to pick one font to use on EVERYTHING it would Helvetica. Seriously, it’s so crisp and modern yet classic all at once. Best font ever. In my opinion at least.
What about you? Favorite font?
(I LOVE TYPOGRAPHY OPINIONS TOO. The hardest choice on everything I make is which font to use. seriously, it’s torture.)

omg omg omg JEALOUS! <3 I love Mademoiselle! It’s so sexy-girly-yummy. nomnomnom!
I AM ONE LUCKY GAL! I first encountered Coco Mademoiselle at a Chanel makeup counter when I was 19 and imagined wearing it in my dizziest daydreams. It's so gorgeous, like you say, it's a combination of all these different ideas too. I get compliments for it a lot, and it never doesn't seem weird when people say, "YOU SMELL GOOD!" and then ask what the perfume is. If I'm ever smug, even though it's an awful way to be, it's when I say, "Coco Mademoiselle, by Chanel."
My parents bought it duty free and gave it to me for my 21st birthday when they went to Europe. I became obsessed and now get it for Christmas every year because I still can't justify throwing that much cash at perfume. I am so spoiled, but have no regard for 'special occasions' or savouring it, because I wear it everyday. Because I can't imagine not wearing it everyday. And it makes me feel happy everyday, it's a little thing that I love to no end. Wow, I just really love my Coco Mademoiselle. My Dad even bought Mum a bottle of Coco when I was born, which is pretty damn cute.
Now, should I tag this with 'if you ever wanted to know what I smelt like' or no?

Part of my skill set is my genetics - I inherited long arms from my father, it's paramount to my process. Aside from that, I've been at the selfie rodeo since I was 17. So practise is also key. Any other tricks of the trade are, I can only guess, part of my autonomic nervous system and must be observed. Come learn at my side for eight years, young Clare.
And most importantly, Patience.
