A courageous and intriguing memoir of the writer who is plagued by an unknown illness which often causes her to lose her mind and spend all her earnings on getting a diagnosis. As touching as the story is, it talks of her addiction to smoking, drugs and drinking as well as her desire to recover, I felt at times the account appeared to be all jumbled up. She only gets a diagnosis of Lyme disease close to the ending. I wish there was more on her life after the diagnosis and how she coped with the illness. Most of the writing was about her illness before the diagnosis.
