Ahem just thinking about a fic idea w John Price and reader having a fling when they were in their early twenties and promising to be there for each other or some romantic shit like that, and then the world kinda tore them apart, and they were supposed to go on one last date before John was sent out - but he was pulled to a mission and ended up ghosting reader.
and a couple of years later reader left the military possibly due to losing a limb or getting disabled in a way after a really bad mission - and then reader decided to dip out from the world and go live on a farm in the middle of nowhere — and John can’t find her anywhere and kinda forgets about her. Then like 15ish years later the 141 needs a place to stay low and Laswell sends them to Reader, without telling them who she is. And the first thing Reader does when they’re reunited is slapping John and being angry for being stood up.
