Madoka Kaname: Ultimate Lucky Student/Ultimate Hope. Protagonist, duh. Feels that same self-loathing and guilt as the original series, but has an amazing knack at giving hope to people when they’re on the ropes. Adoge is shaped like a heart. Survives.
Homura Akemi: Ultimate Weapons Expert. The secondary lead, i.e Kyoko Kirigiri. Has a crush on Madoka Kaname and declares her love for the girl in the epilogue of the game. Madoka says yes. Survives.
Sayaka Miki: Ultimate Violinist. The fuck-up-the-trial deutoragonist, i.e Byakuya, Nagito, Kokichi, due to her hot-bloodedness and stubbornness to accept the fact that anyone would kill (her justice mindset is in full swing for the latter) Survives.
Haruka Kanade: Ultimate Student Council President. She gets a despair motive video saying how she injured her sister in a fit of rage, and her arc is learning how to cope with that. She becomes good friends with Mami due to their shared love of tea parties. Survives.
Tsuruno Yui: Ultimate Hostess. Just like the original, she’s filled with confidence and wants to get stronger to become the mightiest ultimate, but beneath it lies self-loathing and guilt for not saving her friends. Her arc involves her gaining some true self-confidence. Survives.
Alina Gray: Ultimate Artist. She’s the mastermind, because yeah, she already acts like an ultimate despair already, a girl who thinks humans are bastards that only want to die WOULD host a killing game. Pretends to be a character similar to A-Q before finally showing her true colors in the final trial- her execution involves her head being used as a paintbrush, bashing the brains all over the canvas- and she dies with a smile.
Mabayu Aki: Ultimate Hikikomori. Very shy, very scared. Secretly a huge film buff. First killed via head being bashed in by a bat.
Ashley Taylor: Ultimate Social Media Star. Basically same as canon. First killer due to panic and wanting to escape ASAP, framed as tragic. Execution is being mauled to death, bear-baiting style, by a giant Gurokawa teddy bear with multiple eyes on its body, while a live chat projected in front of Ashley shames her for murdering a girl/being glad she's dead/etc., and she’s forced to watch it while being mauled.
Suzune Amano: Ultimate Assassin. No-nonsense, but won’t take any criticism or disses about her talent, since she believes it can be used for good. Second killed, via being dropped from a high height and stabbed when she broke her bones as a result but DIDN’T die.
Kaoru Maki: Ultimate Soccer Player. The energetic Aoi/Akane girl of the group. Second killer due to the darkest secret motive videos. Executed via being kicked around inside a soccer ball before her leg muscles are torn off via the other team (consisting entirely of monokyubeys)- mimicking the reason she fell into despair in the first place as she bleeds to death in immense pain.
Nagisa Momoe: Ultimate Cheesemaker. The “little kid” character (ie Himiko, Kiyotaka, Hiyoko), she wants to make everyone smile, but deep down still feels the scars of having to grow up so soon because of her mother. Third killed, via decapitation.
Mami Tomoe: Ultimate Heiress. Like Celestia Lundenberg, but less goth and more friendly towards the students, making her murder all the more shocking. She’s very feminine and loves tea parties. Third killer due to the motive of bringing anyone she wants back to life, she chose her parents, but Monokyubey revealed he couldn’t ACTUALLY bring them back to life during the trial, despairing her further. Executed via being forced to be sliced to death by her stalkers, with each slash happening if they don’t please her. This is all while she's forced to do her traditional feminine activities with a smile, such as dessert making, tea parties, and being a refined, reliable senior at school.
Yachiyo Nanami: Ultimate Model. Same as canon- guilt over losing friends, serious, no-nonsense, and the oldest of the group. Fourth killed due to multiple stab wounds before being thrown into the pool.
Kyoko Sakura: Ultimate Thief. Same brashness and stubbornness as canon, without the food chain ideologies. Fourth killer due to the motive videos being learning about the character’s families. Executed via crucifixion and being stoned at by her father’s followers for being a witch, and said followers saying as much. The final blow is done via her father himself.
Mel Anna: Ultimate Fortune Teller. Same as canon. Fifth killed, via a poisoned meal that made her foam at the mouth, hap-hazardly disguised as a suicide via being strung by a noose.
Kazumi Subaru: Ultimate Chef. Same as canon. Fifth killer due to a mix-up of poison and spices Alina orchestrated; because she was the one who fed her the poison meal, she is executed even though she didn’t do anything wrong apart from trying to hide her supposed "crime". Execution involves her being chopped up, blended, and baked alive into a bento box, her face being constructed with Kazumi meat and Strawberry Risotto made with her pink blood.
