Here’s an article from 1984 about those portable radio / cassette players called BOXES. Or, at least, this article says that’s what they are called “on the street.”
Actually, I remember that we used to call them “boom boxes” in the 1980′s. But then again, I wasn’t cool enough to have a street name, so maybe I wasn’t really in the know!
