Proof that adults are all just big kids

I go to a pretty elite music school where all of the students are like very seriously and highly trained musicians. At least 75% of us have been classically trained, but 98% of us can play at least 6 different instruments, and a good 85% of us already do music professionally, ie teaching somewhere, doing regular music gigs, writing for artists, etc. Age’s range from 17 to 30, students frequently wear suits and ties to school and carry giant instruments around with them literally everywhere with brief cases of sheet music. Today our professor brought in a GIANT bag filled with boom whackers and distributed them to all of the 40 students in that class. Half the class immediately started using them as swords and battling each other. The other half pretended they were pirates and used them as a telescope. People started twirling them and pretended they were in a parade and this one girl who got one of the longer ones used it as a staff and pretended she was Gandalf. It was about 20 minutes of complete and utter chaos in this room of people in suits and ties and brief cases. The professor immediately regretted giving his students a bag of boom whackers.
