Boomerang heads! There a creature I've not revised for a while!

The boomerang head is an alien creature that live son a planet that's always dark, only having a dim green glow to illuminate it for the majority of the time.

As it's mostly dark most creatures make their own light. Much like the boomerang head. Described by early explorers as 'living cars' as they not only 'honk' similar way to a car horns, but also their eyes  illuminate not unlike headlights.

Here one has found prey trying to take refuge in a cave system.
