En Engelsen zijn gewoon tof , altijd tijd voor een praatje en een grap.Dit enorme vogelhuis lijkt me een prima plek om Cornwall te verkennen.

This is the perfect spot for a relaxing break and you may find it hard to leave.

THE AREA SURROUNDING THE PROPERTY / ACCOMMODATION

Tree Sparrow House is situated in Tregaminion, on the lower east coast of the Lizard Peninsula. The fishing village of Porthallow, with its beautiful beach, is a 10 minute walk from the tree house and offers safe swimming, fishing, coastal walks and a good local pub, The Five Pilchards Inn. You can also walk to the small village of St Keverne (about 20 minutes) where you will find a lovely church, two pubs and several restaurants and shops, and the neighbouring fishing villages of Coverack and Porthoustock are well worth a visit. As well as restaurants, pubs, craft shops and galleries, the area is also popular for a number of outdoor activities, from sailing, surfing and diving to horse riding and golf. And other great days out include Flambards Theme Park, the National Seal Sanctuary, The Eden Project, Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station, Minack Theatre, National Maritime Museum Cornwall and Roskillys Ice Cream and Organic Farm. Or pay a visit to St. Ives, Falmouth or Helston.

With its gloriously green roof and dark wooden walls, the whimsical Tree Sparrow treehouse is almost camouflaged from the ground. Using his own two hands, artist Jonathan Melville-Smith originally built the platform part way up a towering ash tree for his children. As Jonathan, who lives on a farm in Helston, Cornwall, hosts a lot of parties, he added a shed on top to create accommodation for his friends. Finally, he decked the wooden wonder with a bunk bed, mini stove and fairy lights, turning it into a quirky cabin. SEE CATERS COPY.
