im sure someone has already told you this by now but dogs can absolutely eat chicken
Well, yes!
And I knew this I promise!
But in the modern-day world, a dog under control (to the degree that somebody who Story-Wise Knows What They're Talking About [as evidenced in the tweet] is calm and reassuring the Pretend OP that the dog is not a danger) would not be eating a whole chicken!
Because that would imply that somebody has given their dog An Entire Dead Chicken To Eat, which, anybody who has owned a dog would know that you should never do that under any circumstances (for multiple reasons!)
For one, dogs digestive systems are such that while they can eat raw meat it's generally unadvised; dog food is best.
And more specifically what I was referring to, dogs can't eat chicken with bones in it, because the bones are fragile, and shatter and tear up their insides. It's one of the first things I ever learned about dogs, for safety reasons.
And since the Pretend OP of the tweet implied that the dog was 1) under control and 2) eating an entire, raw, dead chicken, I was making the assumption that it was a little silly!
I know they put chicken in dog food I promise but like, that's way different than an entire freshly-dead chicken asdnlvdslghsdlgh
