Boondi Laddoo - I have tried making these Ladoos two times before but was never able to shape the boondi into Laddoo, but as they say, When you prepare for God with full faith, no dish can go wrong. So here I am finally with my Boondi Laddoo, made with love on the occassion of Laddoo Gopal’s birthday. 😊🥳. I remember when I was a kid every year I use to goto the temple to see which kid from the colony has been selected to become baby krishna ....... but the real celebrations were introduced to me by my in-laws. I remember how My sister in laws @purnimaj @chitra_photography_by_suchitra and I use to prepare for this festival, decorating the whole mandir area of the house with lights and flowers and making rangoli. Preparing kasaar, aloo ki sabzi, puri, charnamat and so many delicacies for bhog. The best part use to be to keep ladoo gopal in a cucumber till midnight as if he is in his mother’s womb and then at midnight make them wear new clothes and ornaments.... it was so much fun. Miss those days ..... now they are married and we are busy doing the rituals in our own homes.... 😊🥰 with our little gopalas and radha... Wishing everyone a very Happy Janamashtmi. May Lord Krishna always have his blessings on all of us.
