Hello friends! I have returned after 7 weeks of travel! Maybe I'll tell some stories on here later, but for now, if any of y'all are thinking about traveling and want any advice, my ask is open. I know I would have liked someone who backpacks to explain some stuff when I first started, so I can be that person for people here!

There's this thing for me when traveling alone when it becomes momentarily overwhelming and scary. But then, if you wait, it passes, and you are new on the other side. I saw a shirt today that said something like "nothing spectacular ever came out of a comfort zone". Yeah. Exactly that. Test the edges and move the borders.

My hypochondria is acting up again

[I had a kidney stone, which was followed up with a kidney infection, both of which required trips to the emergency room. (I logically know) I'm fine now.]

Me: What's that pain?

Hypochondria: IT'S YOUR KIDNEY AGAIN!

Me: ... but it's in my calf?

Hypochondria: KIDNEY!!!!!!!!
