Birdcage’s Odd Object Show|BOOS Lore - The Past

Transcript of P.O.S.H. ０１１’s Report of the History of the Object-Human RBs

[Setting - Dr. █████’s office, Location - M.M.O.S.H. Labs]

０１１- *sharp inhale* Okay, objectkind has lived on this world for hundreds of years. Humanity used to live on this world as well, but when the first objects gained their sentience, they were already gone for a long time.

０１１- Uh, so, *shaky breath* objectkind picked up where humanity left off, and fixed up the ruins left behind by the humans. They’ve lived this way for decades, some objects still taking up the jobs they had before they became alive, such as trains taking objects from place to place within their carts.

[０１１ giggles for a few seconds, coughing a little before continuing]

０１１- Apologies sir, I haven’t had much sleep you know-

０１１- Alright, thank you sir.

０１１- But as you know, humankind has reappeared in this world. A world of objects and humans collided, the two universes merging into one. No one knows how these two worlds collided, or why they did. But we do know the aftermath of it. Not the direct aftermath, as all written records of the first hundred or so years by both kinds have been destroyed. However, the few oral records have all came down to the same conclusion; humans and objects freaked out when they came into contact with each other, and many deaths had occurred over the next few decades.

０１１- Eventually, however, object and humankind have found ways to coexist. Some humans were worshiped by objects, some objects were praised by humans. Religions and viewpoints of the world both kinds had previously known were twisted or destroyed.

０１１- Of course, the merging of universes would of course have major consequences on the merged world. Reality benders, as the name suggests, can warp the preconceived laws of reality. For example, an RB can suddenly combust into flames at any given time, at their will, no outside forces having a say on how long the fire can continue until it goes out, as the RB is in full control of their newfound “powers.”

０１１- Human RBs are commonly called “Psychics,” due to most HRBs having powers similar to fictional powers that humans had come up with. Telepathy, telekinesis, and the like.

０１１- Objects, however, call their RBs “Warpers,” due to their powers having the ability to bend both time and space, such as making portals to teleport, traveling across dimensions, or traveling across time. However, they are still susceptible to the laws of reality in other worlds, and many Warpers have been lost by traveling to other worlds.

０１１- Psychics are far more common than Warpers, but overall have less powerful abilities. Approximately 10% of the human population are Psychics, and less than 0.001% of the object population are Warpers.

０１１- Most Warpers have been terminated, due to both objects and humans fearing their potential.

０１１- However, the Warpers that remained retaliated, and another war broke out between the Warpers and everyone else. Although the Warpers were vastly outnumbered, they managed to wipe out over 75% of the human population, and about 29% of the object population.

０１１- A few Warpers and Psychics banded together on day, to put an end to the war. These Warpers were objects that had defected to other universes, and when they came back to this world, they brought back knowledge from those worlds.

０１１- Object shows, the Warpers called them, in which beings like them rallied up a group of objects to play a sort of reality show, bending the rules of reality along the way, with these things called, “recovery centers.” Recovery centers could bring back objects after they’ve been killed, and a few of the DWarpers have learned how to use them. However, these centers have no effect on humans, and cannot bring dead humans back to life.

０１１- The DWarpers also managed to turn the other Warpers into inanimate objects, before deciding to ultimately turn themselves inanimate as well. No one knows why the DWarpers did this, but after they did both kinds decided to have the humans take care of the now inanimate Warpers.

０１１- Unfortunately, some Warpers had managed to regain sentience, and they each decided to create an object show.

[０１１ shifts in the chair]

０１１- That is where we come in. Here at M.M.O.S.H. Labs we make sure that these Warpers are observed and are made to stay in check at all times. We do this by creating these technology based inanimate objects, that humans control. We either host or co-host these objects shows, depending on when the Warper started the show or when they will start the show.

０１１- I, P.O.S.H. ０１１, is going to be one of the backups for P.O.S.H.-M, and I am making this report to show that I know what I am doing and I don’t need to be kicked out of the program.

Dropa doesn’t consider themselves to be superstitious, but they are very much so by definition.

Most of the objects blame the disappearance of objects on some creature. Pama blames the elves a lot.

She should blah blah blah“ as p.o.s.h. can get confused because at the moment of the introduction p.o.s.h. is basically a sweet o’l grandma and is just trying her best)

Impa(Impatiens) - he/they/it(honestly doesn’t care)

Exe(Executioner Sword) - it/its

Flamberge(Flamberge sword) - it/its

Pama(Pamaypay Fan) - any pronouns

Birdcage(dollhouse standing birdcage(I dunno what it’s called)) - she/they/it

Here I rant about my object show comic and how elimination will be done

When an object gets eliminated in my object show, I want birdcage to extend their hand to them, and once the object in question grabs it, there’s this little dance sequence between the two in a humanized form. Then, at the end of the little dance, the colors basically get inverted, and that weird one eyed person on my pfp for the comic blog is there instead of birdcage. I like to think of that person as a representation of a crow, and what a crow symbolises. The humanized object also looks to be in whatever mood they were in when they lost, whether it be agony, sadness, or whatever.

Then, we cut back to the show, whereas birdcage(in object form) is holding the object, just, being an object.

Because if the winner gains sentience as the prize, then the losers lose the sentience they gained from the show.

Really excited to see what happens to the two(well, more like three) objects who already had sentience react to this.
