 This was my thought as well. Perhaps a child who had shown some kind of great mental fortitude who's brain could obviously survive a separation like that. It would be horrifically cruel. Especially if Clear ever started having memory recall and not understanding what it was or where these memories came from. Part of why I think the Alphas may be the same is the Researcher in his drama CD seemed to think it was possible to transfer Clear's brain into one of the Alphas. Which is really creepy if you think about that in terms that they are technically *alive* Edit: Ugh, and now I am thinking about how Bad Ending Clear taking parts off Aoba was partly in due to him regressing. Not knowing why, but his subconscious acting out what was done to him. Turned into an invalid, all they needed was his working brain anyway.

In addition to the why ViTri Pair off, for some, I know me. Who have been alone get almost depressed not having their partner to balance themselves like walking with only one shoe, it's odd for us to have to make an excuse why "Trip isn't around." Sure other ships are nice and they can he hella fun, I know KouViru and ViruNoi is fun and I enjoy the ship. However something about the deeper connection when ViTri do pair off doesn't compare to the other ships.

I’m a multiship blog, Every relationship my Virus has is super unique and has a different sort of chemistry entirely its own. I do some amazing pairings with characters like Aoba, Takahashi, etc.. and no two are even remotely alike. It keeps things fun and interesting, but at the end of the day I’m missing my other half when Trip isn’t around and I’m left with one brokoro kokoro. ]

[Trust me it’s hard to find someone willing to beat up Virus. :/ I’ve had one revenge thread and that’s all. I still want to do a cannibalism/guro thread myself. Kick Virus to the ground and force his mentality to shatter.

[ I don't even necessarily mind doing the opposite, so long as the idea is solid and it doesn't stray too far from the realm of possibility / become horridly OOC. I have a BadEnd!AU thread going with disarmmywords right now that's rather intense and super keen. I like pushing Virus a little in new and interesting ways he hasn't necessarily experienced in canon, but I still like to keep him reacting in a way that seems plausible. I won't make him do things he absolutely wouldn't.

But oof. There seems to be no shortage of people who want Virus to harm or abuse them for seemingly no reason save they want their muses to suffer. Which Eh. I've been approached with this tons of times and usually turn it down. I just can't get behind it if the plot and motivation isn't there. And while I'm super flexible and love a whole slew of strange shit (hnnng guro and cannibalism being two big ones tbh. Looks like we're twin-sans~ ) I kinda need things to be justified.

A big part of the fun is making it work. Be it with obscure ships or extreme scenarios. If I'm writing something too flat, generic, or bland? I'm super likely to just drop it. That kinda goes for your typical fandom badfic non-con scenes :/ ]
