Have you played BOOT HILL ?
By Brian Blume and Gary Gygax

Have you played ?

Boot Hill
two views, sundown
While I was in Hays, KS yesterday, I happened to drive by the original Boot Hill cemetery, which opened five years before the more famous one in Dodge City. This is where dozens of people, from outlaws to lynching victims, were buried when this site was still north of Hays at the time. About half the graves were relocated later on, but those that couldn't be found remain here.
I noticed some litter scattered over the ground, and since I had a little time before my next obligation, I grabbed a bag from the car and picked it up. I say this to remind you that, all over the world, there are countless people enacting small but meaningful kindnesses; we may not have been in the same location or known each other's names, but we were all on a team anyway. You don't need to engage in grand gestures or heroic efforts to be a part of this team, either. Just do a little something when you can to make your corner of the world better, even if all you have is a few minutes of time in an old graveyard.
"In a dusty frontier town where fortunes are made and lost on the turn of a card, the saloon doors swing open to reveal a figure that commands the room's attention."
"Here, in the heart of the Wild West, destiny is dealt hand by hand."
